3rd Grade Art- Focus on the Artist

3rd Grade artists explored Faith Ringgold's' Story Quilts by analyzing the storytelling in her quilts. The students generated ideas for their own art from their own lives or their imaginations to create a story quilt based on the prompt "If I could fly I would..." The students created original text that they incorporated into their artwork.
