7th Grade Art- Artist of the Month: Elizabeth Catlett

7th Grade Bolden artists have been busy exploring the medium of clay this past semester. They examined the figure sculptures of African American artist, Elizabeth Catlett, while understanding how to use the human body to show emotion. They reflected on a personal experience and formed a clay figure conveying an emotion through their figure’s posture.
