7th Grade students in Ms. Glover's Art class created collages using mixed media. First, students explored and found inspiration in mixed media collages found online and in magazines. The artist then found an area of focus for their work to incorporate hand drawn or written elements of their art that contained a variety of colors, forms, dimensions and textures. Finally, the students self-reflected on their work by creating an artist statement about their work.Â
