Bolden volleyball team posts back-to-back victories
The Bolden Elementary Middle School girls volleyball team has won two consecutive matches, building confidence and on-court chemistry as the season continues.
Players and Coach Gardner have emphasized communication, support for teammates, and consistent effort. Those habits showed in recent games as the Lady Eagles stayed focused from the first serve through the final point.
“The girls volleyball team has won the last two games in a row. I am very proud of us as a team. I hope we continue to keep succeeding,” said Khloe.
Physical training on the court rewards the same discipline, attention, and perseverance that serve students in a rigorous classroom. A sound body and a trained mind reinforce each other: players who listen, adjust, and persist under pressure carry those habits into academics and into the civic life expected of students in DoWEA schools that serve military-connected families.
Victoria has been among the team’s most reliable servers and point producers. Caleigh’s blocking has helped swing momentum. Khloe has taken charge on the court, calling balls and delivering sets. In timeouts, Gardner has used brief huddles to reset strategy and keep the group aligned.
The team represents Bolden with visible pride. That pride — in school, teammates, and the community that supports Department of War families — is a small but practical expression of the character and civic habits DoWEA Americas schools seek to form.
Congratulations to the Lady Eagles on the two-game streak. The school community will be watching the next matches.
