Local Talents Prepare to Make a Splash on May 13 at Bolden Elementary Middle School

Dr. Ulmer, the esteemed music director, and the talented cast of Finding Nemo Jr. are gearing up for a spectacular community performance on May 13 at 6 PM. The event will take place in the Bolden Elementary Middle School Performance Area, promising an evening filled with vibrant music and captivating performances.
Adreanna T., a 6th grader who plays Crush the Turtle, shared her thoughts: "I think the performance so far is going well, but there are still some scenes that need some work. Overall, it's very good."
Dr. George Ulmer, the music director, explained the inspiration behind this year's choice: "This year we wanted to venture out to something relatable to our students, the ocean. So we picked out this so students could study the science and biology of sea creatures in their classes while enjoying Finding Nemo."
The cast, featuring local young talents, has been working tirelessly under Dr. Ulmer's expert guidance to bring the beloved Pixar story to life. Parents and other students are working to make sure the scenes and props are interesting and entertaining Audiences can look forward to an enchanting underwater adventure with memorable characters like Nemo, Marlin, and Dory.
