Exciting Changes Coming to Bolden’s Information Center and Library
From Quiet Reading to Creative Tech, Big Things Are Happening!
The Bolden Elementary Middle School Information Center is getting a fresh renovation and rejuvenation, and students can look forward to exciting new opportunities when they return to explore.
The library is receiving new books to expand student choices, ranging from the latest graphic novels and popular series to nonfiction titles that support curiosity and research. In addition, students will soon enjoy “brain break” activities designed to give them quick moments of fun and focus during the day. After lunch, the library will now offer quiet reading time, giving students a calm space to enjoy their books, recharge, and settle into the afternoon.
Another highlight of the renovation is the new Information Center Lab. This updated space will give students hands-on opportunities to explore technology, 3D design, Minecraft learning projects, and digital creation tools such as Adobe Express. It will also include space for collaborative projects, STEM exploration, and creative problem-solving.
Of course, the library remains a hub for book checkout and self-directed reading. With the new updates, students will have even more ways to discover, create, and learn within a space designed just for them.
The rejuvenated Information Center and Library will continue to be a place where students can read, learn, create, and connect—now with even more resources to support their journeys as lifelong learners.
Stay tuned for more updates as these changes take flight!
